The Cambridge roller is used for:

• pre-sowing smoothening of soil, lumps destruction,
• after-sowing soil compacting with the purpose of top layer condensation for increasing moisture inflow from the subsurface;
• soil compacting in droughty areas with the purpose of moisture losses decreasing due to converting and diffusive evaporations;
• packing of green fertilizers before plowing.

The roller can be mounted as semi-trailer to the tractors of draught class 1,4 and 2,3 ( for example MTZ-100, MTZ-102). It can be used on the slopes up to 8 degrees.
