The cultivator is used for high-quality soil loosening without layer turnover with simultaneous sealing of loosened layer. The cultivator prepares soil sowing any crops within one passing. It is mounted for example to the tractors DT-75M, MTZ-100/102.
Cultivator KVF-3 is applied after the processing of a field executed by ploughs on depth up to 14 cm, after hoeing plough passing on the not ploughed field – on depth of its processing, and also after application flat hoe and chisel plows. The cultivator is widely used for soil processing for potato, vegetable, melons, and gourds, winter and spring grain crops, beet, corn, sunflower, and flax. It can be used on the slopes up to 8 degrees.
